The Police department Dandeli conducted an Essay competition for GNM Nursing & ITI students of Dandeli regarding Prevention of Drug addiction & also conducted an awareness program on "Drug Addiction" at our Institute. Shri.Shivanand katagi, DYSP, Dandeli spoke at this event & presented the prizes for the winners of Essay competition.
Shri.Kushnegouda Arikeri ,PSI, Police station Dandeli delivered a speech on harmful effects of drug addiction. Shri.Bhimappa Suri, CPI, Dandeli was also present at this event. Principal Shri.Vinayak I Patil sir also shared his views at this event. The Staff & students benefited from the experience.

As a part of Community Health Nursing - I requirement, Students of First Year GNM posted to the Gandhi Nagar, Dandeli for 1 month. Conducted Health Survey & Provided Comprehensive Community Health Nursing Care like Demonstration of Hand Washing Techniques, Assessment of Vital Signs, Preparation of ORS & Benedict Test.
